This website is dedicated to Sofia Manso's professional activities. For questions about your personal data, use the contact form.

What data do we collect?

When you complete a form, we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, organisation, subject and message. The newsletter form collects your email address and the relevant consent.

You can write anonymously and request the removal of a reflection through the contact page. Content is stored using the site's technical services, including Netlify Forms where available and, if dynamic moderation is enabled, Netlify Functions and Netlify Blobs. IP addresses and additional contact details are not published.

On the Voices & Reflectionspage, we collect the message and, if provided, the contributor's first name, surname and professional role. Submission requires consent for review and possible publication. The information provided is used for moderation and, once approved, to display the reflection on the website. Unapproved submissions are not published.

What is the data used for?

Contact form data is used to respond to your enquiry. Newsletter information is used to send editorial communications if you have consented. You may request that these communications stop by contacting us through the website.

Legal basis and retention periods

Details supplied voluntarily through the contact form are processed to review and answer your request. Newsletter communications rely on explicit consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, subject to applicable legal obligations. You may request erasure through the contact form.

Processing and security

Forms are processed through Netlify Forms. By default, this website does not install behavioural analytics, advertising pixels or advertising cookies. External websites may have their own privacy policies.

External services and analytics

Hosting and forms are provided through Netlify. We may connect the newsletter list to an email-marketing service, subject to appropriate configuration and information to subscribers. Optional visitor and click analytics remain inactive until configured; if activated, the analytics service loads only after the visitor consents. This choice can be revisited through the privacy preferences. External bookshops and video platforms operate under their own policies.

Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data and exercise your rights under the GDPR using the contact details on this website. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD.
