THE CONVERSATION

Productivity. Power.
Responsibility.

This is the question I am bringing to Portugal Tech Week on 12 November, in a conversation that forms part of Society & Future.

We will look beyond what artificial intelligence can do. We will discuss what we choose to do with the possibilities it creates.

  1. Who benefits from the productivity gains?

  2. Who absorbs the pressure?

  3. And what needs to change for working faster to mean working better, too?

Drawing on the ideas in O Teu Próximo Passo (Your Next Step), we will explore the relationship between productivity, power and organisational responsibility — and the decisions that can turn efficiency into autonomy, sustainable results and shared value.

WHO IT IS FOR

For anyone who leads, manages people, develops technology or feels, in their own working life, the gap between producing more and living better.

Technology can change the speed at which we work. It is up to us to decide whether that takes us somewhere better.
